The dolls are handcrafted by women
artisans of India to depict the tradition
of Rajasthan. The Elephant Festival is
held during Holi in Jaipur, Rajasthan,
is a vibrant, traidtional event
held annually on the eve of Holi,
celebrating elephants as symbols of
royalty and divinity. Female elephants
are adorned in vibrant colors, intricate
paintings, and jewellery.
