Transforming lives of people as we believe in giving back to nature and society equally. We have a number of stories to tell about humanity to create and curate from craft and culturally integrate the colours of India with a blended mix of visuals from Art Of India

Handgrown Life: With the vision and mission of sustainability, each of our products has an essence of Mother Nature

Handmade Culture: Built and created by the proud women of India, specially abled children and artisans.

Handcrafted Stories: Transforming the gift of craft from nature to provide alternative solutions for a sustainable lifestyle.

Handwoven Teads: Weaving together in ways that are unimaginable and providing a growth platform for artisans.

Hand Knotted Humanity: Integrating Indian culture, traditions, craftsmanship and nature into oneness.

Our philosophy is to create life through homemade and sustainably designed products. In collaboration with nature we want to create a world where everyone is healthy and equal.

What I stand for is what I stand on!

Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better.

We hear water, quiet and thunderous, trickling, rushing down the mountains.

We see Women sitting under the whistling leaves and chirping birds.

We smell the dried leaves of indigo and the emergence of colours born from the soil of Earth.

We bathe in the land’s pure light that filters through and throughout, reminding us of the vast powerful nature out there beyond the walls.

We see silence, we flow, we imagine, we feel, we indulge in beauty. All such impressions, feelings, sensations, memories, purify our soul from within.

We Live!

Our Five pillars define the process:

FOUNDER’S NOTE

Tanika Bansal founded The Terra Co. in the year 2018.

Graduated as Interior designer from Raffles Millennium International, Delhi. With an experience of 7 years, she has been growing through her career commendably. Working with Group DCA , Gunjan Gupta( Studio Wrap) and Mangrove Collective as design and project lead in the past, she gained experience and exposure in her career.

Passion for design, concern for health and environment, craft and culture of India inspired her to work for everyone. She usually spent her free time working towards the environment and now she incorporated it in every moment of work. She has been keen on reducing the gap in the different sections of society and is focused on spreading oneness and humanity through design. The process which is followed reflects the importance of being a good human in life.

The idea of 5 pillars of growth - Maati, Beej, Rooii, Bhasha and Chhaap came from responsibility and passion for saving Mother Earth and incorporating sustainability in every moment of Life. She wants to reach each and every segment of society and work for them and with them to create a beautiful new world. As a seed grows into a plant to give food, and then the produce is used to create natural products and help the society by creating livelihood, she wants to follow the same process for life. In collaboration with nature we want to create a world where everyone is healthy and equal. She loves to spend time in nature and orphans.

She has been covered by ANI News and DD News for her principles and passion for saving the environment.

Quote from the Founder

“Being a human I am responsible to create and work for the betterment of Mother Earth. A small step can make a lot of difference.

As we use resources of nature, we are responsible to give them back to our Mother Earth. This thought inspired me to create a whole new world which is pure, healthy and a source of living.”
